Ultra-light composite panel produced bonding a core made of Polycarbonate transparent cylindrical cells with external layers in transparent PETG with satin or glossy finishes.
Lightben Plus™ is designed for indoor applications where fire resistance is required ( Class 1/ Italy, B1/ Germany ) or UV protection from light coming from artificial sources or through windows or skylights.
The particular structure of the panel creates a partial transparency which varies according to the visual angle, while the external layers allow a variation in transmittance and colour shading of the light. . Thanks to these special aesthetical features and an outstanding lightweight and stiffness, Lightben™ is suitable for a wide variety of indoor applications. Easy to cut Lightben™ panel can be finished with standard accessories profiles and systems such as frames, handles, hinges.
