Miacore™

Miacore is an ultralight composite material consisting of a honeycomb inner core and external skins in epoxy glass or aluminum fabric. Its main features are the extreme lightness and high mechanical performance that, combined with a flame retardant core with an excellent epoxy adhesive, make it particularly suitable for creating solutions for lightened marble or other similar stones. For this reason it represents a sandwich panel widely used in applications ranging from construction to design and the yachting industry.

Miacore is produced into 5 variants:

1. MIACORE VTR
   Standard composite material with aluminum core and epoxy fiberglass skins
2. MIACORE FR
   It’s the Bs1d0 – IMO Med. B fire certified alternative to the VTR variant
3. MIACORE AL
   Composite material with aluminum core and skins made perfect for applications where strong mechanical strength is required
4. MIACORE PET
   composite material suitable for applications in humid or watered environments
5. MIACORE CLR+
   This new version was born as an alternative to glass. It has extreme transparency, and it can be customized in thicknesses, finishes and sizes.
